ਪੜਿਆ ਅਤੈ ਓਮੀਆ ਵੀਚਾਰੁ ਅਗੈ ਵੀਚਾਰੀਐ ॥
Paṛiā aṯai omīā vīcẖār agai vīcẖārī▫ai.
The accounts of the educated and the illiterate shall be judged in the world hereafter.
ਮੁਹਿ ਚਲੈ ਸੁ ਅਗੈ ਮਾਰੀਐ ॥੧੨॥
Muhi cẖalai so agai mārīai. ||12||
One who stubbornly follows his own mind shall suffer in the world hereafter. ||12

ਅੰਤਰਿ ਲੋਭੁ ਕਰੈ ਨਹੀ ਬੂਝੈ ॥
Anṯar lobẖ karai nahī būjẖai.
greed within, devoid of understanding.
ਸਿਰ ਊਪਰਿ ਜਮਕਾਲੁ ਨ ਸੂਝੈ ॥
Sir ūpar jamkāl na sūjẖai.
Unaware of Messenger of Death hovering over ones head head.
ਐਥੈ ਕਮਾਣਾ ਸੁ ਅਗੈ ਆਇਆ ਅੰਤਕਾਲਿ ਕਿਆ ਕੀਜੈ ਹੇ ॥੫॥
Aithai kamāṇā so agai āiā anṯkāl ki▫ā kījai he. ||5||
Whatever one does in this world, comes forth during death; what can one do at that very last moment? ||5|| Guru Arjun Dev
